4-d experiences

topic posted Mon, October 6, 2003 - 8:48 AM by  Robert
Hi everyone- I've been thinking lately about our 4-d world (length, width, height, time) and some of what I'm beginning to call 4-d experiences--particularly ghosts. I guess it is that time of year, with Halloween coming up soon.

Have any of you ever seen a ghost? I believe that the "ghost" phenomenon can be explained through the tenets of perceptual holography: ghosts are 4-d beings (as we are) who are not keeping pace with us in time--therefore they re-occur (for us) over long stretches of time and may seem to repeat the same behavior again and again without recognizing our presence. In reality, they perform their actions but once, but simce they are oscillating back and forth through our time line the action seems to repeat in the same space--either at regular intervals or in seemingly chaotic patterns.

I've thought of oblique movement through multiple dimensions as an explaination of UFOs and mysterious lights--even as a source for crop circles (the real ones--not the artistic hoaxes), but I had never really considered this as an explaination for ghosts. Thoughts?

what of ghosts that one does not see, but feels? and what of those ghosts that affect tangible things and people? i myself have never "seen" a ghost, but i have felt inexplicable presences and forces which i believe to have been ghost type isht.
your ghosts would be unaware of any people who were oscillating like the rest of us, right?
    also, what of dreams?

Of course there are many ways of looking at it: I was implying that we and ghosts are both real, but that ghosts have a time-oscillation relative to us that renders them seemingly insubstancial. Of course, to them, we may be the ghosts... the degree of oscillation could determine whether ghosts are visible, invisible, able to move objects, aware of our presence, etc.

A less scientific explaination may be that we are the dreams of ghosts, and that somewhere there are worlds created by our dreams where we haunt our own dream-figures...

Kara, those are good questions that I would ask. I have 'seen' ghosts out of the corner of my eye, I have felt their presence and I have gotten messages from them. I do think there is something to the multi-dimensional idea that at least some 'ghosts' belong to another dimension that may 'bleed' over into ours. Some are the result of an active imagination combined with fear or longing. Some are ghosts, being seen to repeat the same actions over and over, like a faded recording. The poltergeist phenomenon is another class, not usually related to ghosts but to telekinesis which could be in Robert's model another way to manipulate the time dimension. There are so many things to explore in the category of ghosts.
      Thanks

Could what we call ghosts could very well be our interpretaion of the leftover 'energies' in a space. After all, all matter is made up of energy. It is said that most ghost apperances occur when there was some trauma in the past. Such as a murder ect... Some people sensitive to the energy may pick up on it and percieve it as a ghost.

my home is well inhabited by these "ghosts" you speak of. as i type this, i am accompanied by what feels like an intense feminine presence, and an imprisoned, dominated male presence. i have had many friends comment on the need for exorcism, yet i refuse to do this.

we, as humans, have this innate drive to reduce all activity to it's physicalities. in the event of spiritual inhabitation, we want to clear it out - to reduce our environment to a soulless, entirely physical realm. in contact with an unmanifested being, people immediately want to banish it.

open, release, relax. offer yourself up as a vessel for further experience - allow yourself to be a reintroductory point to our timewave. let wayward spirits know that they are in the spirit world, and that if they want eyes to see again, they can use yours.

the way of peace begins with you.

if, in fact, a ghost is a being that is out of time synch, reassure them that they can come back. they may not seem aware, but they ARE. if your spirit is ignoring you, and going about it's routine, it is because you are ignoring it. to percieve one is not the same as to recieve it.

allow yourself to be a vessel of lost souls, both the living and the dead. the time of awakening is now. you will see more walking spirits in the next ten years than the entire planet has seen in it's lifespan. as the timewave approaches the point of infinite novelty, you will see the world change at a rate people did not believe possible. don't fear this, embrace it.

every day is a 4-d experience for those who allow it to be. watch the birth and death and rebirth of the universe enough times, and you will see the supreme futility of the situation.
